LAS VEGAS -- Metro Police are investigating after an officer fired shots at a suspect early Monday morning.
According to police, the incident was sparked when a suspect robbed a person. That robbery happened around 1:50 a.m., possibly at a convenience store near Charleston Blvd. & Lamb Blvd.
Police tell 8 News NOW they closed in as the suspect was getting away, and that's when the suspect opened fire. That prompted officers to return fire.
Police say no one was hit, and there were no injuries.
