Police: 'We don't know what happened to missing girl'

BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. -- Family, friends and Bullhead City Police are searching for an 8-year-old girl who disappeared from her home early Tuesday morning. Police say they are now treating this as a criminal case.

Isabella Grogan-Cannella is around 4 foot 8 and between 80 and 90 pounds. She has shoulder-length, dirty-blonde hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a green ruffled sparkly tank top and dark colored shorts. She may be barefoot.

Police were called to a home in the 2400 block of Lakeside Drive in Bullhead City at around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday. The residents reported Isabella, who also goes by Bella, was not in her bed or in residence.

Police, volunteers and fire department personnel have been canvassing the neighborhood, nearby parks and the river since early Tuesday morning looking for the girl. A Careflight helicopter has also helped in the search.

The FBI and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children have been contacted.

Anyone with information is asked to call Bullhead City Police at (928)763-1999.
