An elderly man was kidnapped and robbed at knifepoint, and Metro Police says it needs the public's help to catch the person they think is responsible.
Officers said it happened on Nov. 17 around 1:22 p.m. in the 4800 block of West Charleston Boulevard.
Metro said a woman approached the elderly man in the parking lot of a convenience store and threatened him with a knife. The woman then drove the victim in his car to a bank located in the 6900 block of Westcliff Drive.
That's where she forced the elderly man to withdraw money from the ATM, police said.
According to Metro, the woman drove to the back of the bank before she jumped out of the car and fled the area on foot.
The suspect is described as a black woman, approximately 5-feet 5-inches tall with a small build. The woman is said to have a notable small mole on the lower chin area.
She was last seen wearing a hooded sweatshirt with yellow lettering, sunglasses and a knit cap.
