Rains forces fire crews to campers

LAS VEGAS - Conditions in Mount Charleston became suddenly rough Monday afternoon with about one to two inches of rainfall in the area.

Campers unexpectedly saw good conditions turn into muddy and drenched areas forcing fire officials to evacuate the Fletcher View campground. Officials with the Mt. Charleston Fire Protection District say they assisted with a frightening situation for three others at the campground.
