Rep. Heck Enters 2014 With $1 Million Cash on Hand

LAS VEGAS -- In campaign reports filed Friday with the Federal Election Commission, Republican Rep. Joe Heck of Nevada's 3rd Congressional District disclosed that he ended last year with $1,020,149 cash on hand as he seeks another two-year term in November.

Heck reported $262,582 in net contributions for the final quarter of 2013.

Democratic challenger Erin Bilbray reported $245,523 cash on hand in her bid to unseat Heck. She also reported $164,661 in net campaign contributions for the final quarter of last year.

Democratic Rep. Steven Horsford, who represents Nevada's 4th Congressional District, headed into this year with $167,941 cash on hand. He raised $143,000 in net contributions in the final three months of 2013.

A Republican challenger, Cresent Hardy, reported $105,662 cash on hand and $123,736 in net contributions in the final quarter of last year.
