Riding with CHP: Troopers work together to crack down on fast drivers across state lines

LAS VEGAS - This Labor Day weekend an estimated 300,000 are expected to people make their way to the Las Vegas valley.  More than half of them are expected to drive, crowding California and Nevada's borders.

Traffic will likely be busiest along I-15 and the resort corridor, so drivers are urged to drive safely, be patient and expect their commute in and out to take a little extra time.

To keep things safe and moving on the roads, law enforcement across state lines are going to be working together.

8 News NOW Reporter Karen Castro rode along with California Highway Patrol troopers in and around Primm which is a hot spot for traffic violators.
