Saudi Sergeant Pleads Not Guilty to Sexually Assaulting Boy

LAS VEGAS -- A Saudi Arabian Air Force sergeant accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old boy at Circus Circus on New Year's Eve pleaded not guilty Tuesday morning.

Mazen Alotaibi, 23, of Saudi Arabia entered the plea, waived his right to a speedy trial and will appear again May 13. Alotaibi is a sergeant in the Saudi Arabian Air Force and has been temporarily stationed at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio Texas for training.

Alotaibi faces charges of sexual assault of a victim under 16 years old, lewdness with a minor under 14 years old, coercion with force, and first-degree kidnapping.
