Sen. Reid Starts Campaign Bus Tour Across Nevada

LAS VEGAS  -- U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is starting a bus tour to campaign through Nevada, where he faces a seemingly tough election this year in the state he has represented since 1986.

Reid says he plans to discuss jobs, energy, health insurance and other issues with Nevadans during the tour starting Monday. Reid's campaign is calling it his "Driving Nevada Forward" tour.

The primaries are two months away and the election is in November. Reid faces four little-known Democrats in the June 8 primary and is expected to then face one of 12 Republican challengers. Two GOP front-runners have already traveled Nevada's roads: businesswoman Sue Lowden and Danny Tarkanian, a lawyer and son of legendary former UNLV basketball coach Jerry Tarkanian.
