LAS VEGAS - A senior citizen accused of robbing a bank over the weekend was arrested in Laughlin Tuesday night.
According to Metro Police, on Oct. 21, at approximately 9:30 a.m. John McGuire robbed a bank in the 7000 block of N. Durango Drive.
Metro Police said, McGuire entered the bank, showed a weapon, and demanded money from the teller. He fled the scene after he was given an undisclosed amount of money.
Metro said he left the business in an older model van that is gold in color and possibly a mid-2000's Dodge Caravan.
McGuire who is said to be between 65-70 years old, was arrested Tuesday night in the 1600 block of Casino Drive in Laughlin. McGuire is being held on two counts of Robbery, one count of burglary with a firearm and fugitive warrant from another Jurisdiction.
