Shane Ross, the son of Las Vegas Mayor Pro Tem Steve Ross, made his first court appearance Wednesday morning in Las Vegas Justice Court.
Ross is currently charged with six counts related to a series of robberies, but is facing additional charges. Police are accusing him of 10 robberies that occurred in the southwest part of the Las Vegas valley.
He was arrested on Friday, Aug. 19 following three robberies that occurred in a 15-minute period.
The attorneys agreed bail would be addressed at another time.
There is another hearing scheduled for later this morning.
The Ross family has said that Shane has battled addiction problems for some time.
