Shooting Outside Las Vegas Strip Club Leaves Man Dead

LAS VEGAS (AP) -- Police are searching for leads in a shooting outside a Las Vegas strip club that left a man dead.

Police say they received many calls indicating a man had been shot Saturday morning in the parking lot of Crazy Horse III, west of the Strip.

Police say a man was found dead inside a parked vehicle outside the club and he apparently suffered a single gunshot wound to the chest.

Investigators say the victim was involved in an altercation with other people while sitting in his vehicle before the 8:20 a.m. shooting.

Police Lt. Michael Wallace told the Las Vegas Sun the club was open at the time of the shooting, but investigators don't think the incident began inside.

The victim's name and cause of death weren't immediately released.
