Shots fired at school bus along U.S. 95

LAS VEGAS -- Shots from a pellet gun were fired at a school bus Friday afternoon, Metro Police confirmed. Clark County School District Police are now taking over the investigation.

The school bus driver reported that someone fired shots at the bus at around 1:40 p.m, while one 13-year-old special-needs student and a bus aid were onboard.

The bus was traveling southbound on U.S. 95 near Charleston Boulevard when the shooting happened. It has now been moved onto Boulder Highway.

Three holes from pellets damaged the exterior of the bus. No one inside the bus was hurt.

Police are now looking for a black sports car, which was last seen driving in the area.
