Smart and friendly; Lacyn is a 9-yr-old who has so much to give to the right adoptive family

Las Vegas, NV - Our Wednesday's Child today is a 9-yr-old boy who is NOT afraid of snakes.  You'll understand what we mean when Dave Courvoisier introduces you to Lacyn... who is *also* not afraid of being adopted.

We're back at the Seaquest Interactive Aquarium where you met Zaiden last week on Wed's Child.  Lacyn is a little older... He's nine... And a real go-getter.

"So Mr. Lacyn is extremely bubbly and happy. He has a huge energetic personality. He is really excited to be in fifth grade next year so he is on summer vacation right now and having a blast," says Calli, who is a DFS Adoption Recruiter.

And he's a hands-on guy as we found out while we asked him what his favorite thing was today...

"The snake that’s on me right now," says Lacyn with NO fear.

But his interests are not confined to snakes:

"Lacyn enjoys doing a ton of things. He is really open-minded. He loves to just get out of do anything and everything that he can do. He would so excited to come to Seaquest today. He’s never been here. He is very excited to get out of the house and go anywhere," adds Calli.

When he grows up, Lacyn wants a job where he can be useful to people.

"I want to be a firefighter. So I can help people… put out fires… and also… save people.," adds Lacyn.

Lacyn's been in about half-a-dozen foster homes, but understands adoption, and knows what kind of home he wants:

"One that appreciates me, one that… wants to take care of me and one that has an iPad," claims Lacyn.

"So Lacyn has a very clear understanding of adoption. I think he is very intelligent and he is very wise when it comes to foster care. And knowing what’s going on regarding his case plan and his future.  He is so optimistic and he so bright and so hopeful for his future so I think we deserve to give him that hope and give him a chance to really have an awesome future," says Calli.

Lacyn is more than ready for adoption to happen in his life.  If you're interested, contact the Adoption Exchange now at 436-6335.
