Students violating school policy by ordering UberEATS

ATLANTA - High school administrators in Georgia are cracking down on students who order food through UberEATS.

According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Peachtree Ridge High School reminded students and parents last week that UberEATS delivery is against school policy.

The following message was posted on the school's website:

“We have had an increased number of students ordering food from Uber Eats to be delivered to PRHS during the school day.  Please be reminded of our food delivery policy, which includes Uber Eats. Students ordering food through Uber Eats (in violation of our policy) may face disciplinary consequences.”

According to the Gwinnett County School District, having visitors on campus who do not have a purpose visiting the school is a safety violation.
