Supreme Court Schedules Arguments on Dog Case

HENDERSON, Nev. -- The Nevada Supreme Court has scheduled oral arguments in the case involving a dog that killed a 1-year-old baby.

The arguments will be heard Wednesday, July 3, at 11:30 a.m. in Carson City.

An animal rights group is trying to save the dog, named Onion, from being put down. A judge ruled in August that The Lexus Project could appeal the City of Henderson's decision to euthanize the dog.

The city determined the dog was dangerous after it killed a baby boy in April 2012.
