Teen hospitalized after shooting in NLV, 3 arrested

NORTH LAS VEGAS - Three teens, 17 and 18, were arrested Wednesday in connection with a shooting in North Las Vegas.

It happened around 2:35 p.m. in the 100 block of San Miguel.  The closest major intersection to this area is N. Commerce Street and W. Craig Road.

It all stemmed from a robbery, North Las Vegas Police said.

Police said a male teen suffered gunshot wounds to one of his legs, but the injuries were non-life-threatening, so he's expected to survive.

The teen was taken to University Medical Center for treatment.

North Las Vegas Police say the shooting may also be connected to a crash that happened at I-15 and Cheyenne Avenue.
