Toddler found abandoned in downtown Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS - An abandoned toddler was found in downtown Las Vegas Thursday, according to a spokesperson with the City of Las Vegas.

Authorities said around 3:32 p.m. City Marshals were called about the 2-year-old girl who was all alone near the old Las Vegas Club on Fremont Street.

The paramedics were called, and the child was taken to the hospital for treatment. Metro's Abuse and Neglect officers and Child Protective Services investigating.
