Trial date set in deadly Las Vegas Strip crash

LAS VEGAS - The woman accused of driving into a crowd of people on the Las Vegas Strip killing one person and injuring dozens more will stand trial.

The attorneys of Lakeisha Holloway argued the former Portland, Oregon woman was mentally ill when she committed the act in Dec. 2015.

On Monday, a judge found Holloway competent to face trial.

Holloway faces 71 felony charges including murder, attempted murder and battery with a deadly weapon. Her trial is scheduled to start Feb. 5, 2018.
