Two-Alarm Fire Near Swenson and Twain

LAS VEGAS - Clark County Fire Department crews responded to a two-alarm fire near Swenson Street and Twain Avenue Tuesday morning.

Clark County officials say the fire started around 4:30 a.m. at the Royal Crest Apartments on Hazelwood Street. Crews called a second alarm shortly after arriving on scene. The Clark County Fire Department gained control of the fire quickly - confining it to a first floor apartment.

The fire caused approximately $50,000 of damage to the first floor apartment and the second floor exterior of the building. No one suffered any injuries.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
