Type 2 Diabetics May Have Higher Risk of Cancer

People who are dealing with type two diabetes apparently have a greater risk of some two-dozen types of cancer..

In a large study, researchers reviewed the cases of 125-thousand people who'd been hospitalized for diabetes complications.

The highest risk was for pancreatic and liver cancers, but the risk was nearly double for kidney, thyroid and esophageal cancer.

Ironically, the diabetics were less likely to get prostate cancer, perhaps due to the lower testosterone levels of many diabetics.
