UPDATE: Suspected drunk driver ran red light, killed two people

LAS VEGAS - Two people died after a crash involving a suspected drunk driver early Saturday morning, according to police.

The crash happened just after 3:00 a.m. at Spring Mountain Road and Polaris Avenue. 

The suspected drunk driver, identified as Patrick Lacy, Jr., ran a red light at the intersection and hit a 2014 Ford Fiesta with two people, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

The two men in the Fiesta died at the scene of the crash, police said. 

Lacy was arrested taken to the hospital and booked on suspicion of drunk driving. 

The Clark County Coroner's Office will release the identities of the two men killed in the crash.
