UPDATE: Teen found shot to death identified

LAS VEGAS (AP) -- Authorities have identified a teenager who was shot dead and fell out of the passenger side of a vehicle over the weekend in Las Vegas.

Clark County coroner's officials say 17-year-old Las Vegas resident Demario Charles Hughes died of multiple gunshot wounds on Saturday.

He was pronounced dead at the scene at a housing complex near West Lake Mead Boulevard.

Police say Hughes fell out of a car before an unknown woman got out of the driver's side, walked over to the victim, then drove away.

Detectives identified a person of interest in the case as 27-year-old Stacey Thomas -- a black woman with black hair and brown eyes who is 5-foot-8 and weighs about 285 pounds.

Police are now looking for Thomas and looking for a red 2005, four-door Hyundai Accent with Nevada plates 953LHT. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
