UPDATE: Teen killed in crash near Grand Canyon and Twain ID'd

LAS VEGAS -- The Clark County Coroner's Office has identified the 19-year-old killed after a two-car crash near Grand Canyon Drive and Twain Avenue Tuesday evening as Levone Movsisyan of Las Vegas.

The crash happened shortly before 7 p.m. on Twain Avenue near Paria Canyon Street. Police say a 2004 Infinity and 2013 Hyundai were speeding west on Twain as they approached Grand Canyon. The Infinity clipped the Hyundai, causing both vehicles to spin out of control.

Police say the cars struck a nearby wall and lamp post before coming to a stop on Twain Avenue. Movsisyan, who was the driver of the Hyundai, died at the scene of the accident. Emergency crews transported the 18-year-old driver and a 17-year-old passenger from the Infinity to University Medical Center in serious condition.
