When second grade students show up for school at Robert Forbuss Elementary, they'll have a brand new teacher with a unique history.

“It's nice to be teaching in CCSD because, I feel like I’m giving back to the teachers that taught me,” Kirstin Barboza said.

The 22-year-old was raised in Las Vegas and was taught in CCSD classrooms.  Barboza also, recently graduated from UNLV.  Now, it's her turn to teach in the same district that fostered her own love of learning.
