Valley mom spreading love of reading with son's legacy

LAS VEGAS - A valley mother is turning tragedy this Christmas spreading a love of reading along with her son's legacy.

It's been almost nine years since Karen Brill lost her son, Aric, when he was murdered by gang members. Since then, she's dedicated her life to working with children in high-crime neighborhoods through her non-profit named after her son, Aric's Safe Neighborhood Mobile Library.
