Vigil held for three kids hit and killed by car while walking on sidewalk

LAS VEGAS - Friends and family held a vigil Sunday night for the three kids run over and killed.

The crash happened on Saturday night in the east valley while the children were walking on a sidewalk.

The aunt identified two of the boys as 15-year-old Francisco Miramontes and 12-year-old Dany at the vigil.

She said the kids were walking to Jack in the Box to get some food when the car and struck them.  

The family started a GoFundMe page to raise money for their memorial service for Francisco and Dany.

Three of the four boys hit were killed, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. The third child killed was not been identified. The fourth child is expected to survive.

The driver ran from the scene of the crash, said police. Officers caught the driver six hours later.
