LAS VEGAS -- Families living in the Villa Capri housing development are getting a new playground thanks to some volunteers.

The playground is being funded through a $65,000 grant from the Home Depot Foundation and a $7,500 contribution from Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority.

More than 200 volunteers will come together on Thursday, May 20th to build the 2,500 square foot playground and give the neighborhood children a place to play.

The Villa Capri housing development is located at 1801 J. Street. It is a 60-unit property of low income rentals.
