LAS VEGAS -- The Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter whose known as "War Machine, was booked into the Clark County Detention Center at around 8 a.m. Saturday.

Jonathan Koppenhaver who legally changed his name to "War Machine," was extradited back to Las Vegas after he went on the run for allegedly beating a couple of people, one of which included his former girlfriend.

Detectives said, in the altercation which occurred at around 4 a.m. on a Friday morning back in early August, Koppenhaver beat Christine Mack so bad she suffered broken bones and bruises.   Investigators said her injuries, along with the other person who was hurt, were non-life threatening injuries.

Mack suffered some bad bruises and broken bones.  Detectives said right after the dispute, Koppenhaver took off and fled to California. Koppenhaver was arrested in Simi Valley, California, a week later.
