West Vegas homicide suspect arrested in Florida

LAS VEGAS - The man accused of shooting and killing another man two months ago was recently arrested in Florida.

The incident happened on Nov. 29, 2016, around 9:29 p.m.  According to Metro Officers, the suspect, 29-year-old Terrance Davis was in a parking lot in the 4100 block of S. Durango when he had an argument with the victim. 

Metro Police said Davis went to his car, grabbed a gun and shot the victim.  The victim who was shot once in the stomach was taken to UMC for treatment, but he later died from his injuries.

Through the course of the investigation, homicide detectives identified Davis as the suspect and found that he had fled to Lakeview, Florida.  He was extradited back to Nevada on Jan. 6.

Davis faces one county of open murder.  He's being held in the Clark County Detention Center.
