Woman critically hurt in hit-and-run crash

 LAS VEGAS -- Metro Police are investigating a crash involving a pedestrian and car near Olive Street and Russell Avenue, which is near Fremont Street and Eastern Avenue.

According to police, a Pontiac Bonneville hit a woman who was crossing the street. The woman flew up on to the hood of the car and through the windshield.

The Pontiac did not stay on the scene. The woman was taken to University Medical Center in critical condition.

Metro Police arrested the female driver of the Pontiac. There are no details on her arrest.
