Woman killed in crash involving stolen truck identified

LAS VEGAS - The Clark County Coroner's Office has identified the woman killed in a crash last week involving a stolen truck as 54-year-old Deborah Rosewall of Las Vegas.

Her cause of death was listed as multiple injuries caused by a motor vehicle accident. The manner of her death is listed as a homicide.

Rosewell was in one of the three vehicles hit by 26,year-old Oriana Leausa on July 5.

Police said, Leausa was under the influence of drugs or alcohol and driving a stolen truck when she hit a police officer's vehicle and two other cars on Fort Apache. Rosewall was in one of those vehicles. Two other people were injured.

According to Leausa's arrest report, a glass smoking pipe was found in the truck after the crash. Leausa was unconscious after the crash and told police she doesn't remember what happened. When she arrived at UMC trauma, a doctor told police, he did not think she would survive.

Leausa did appear in court Monday. She is currently facing a fatal DUI charge, but more charges against her are expected to be filed.

She is being held on $1 million bail.
