Driving You Crazy

What's Driving You Crazy? - Fri. Apr. 6, 2018

LAS VEGAS - As you get ready for another southern Nevada weekend, there's good news and news you've heard before from your friends at Project Neon.

The good news is that the folks at N-DOT feel good enough about their progress on The Main Event - the widening of I-15 between Sahara and the Spaghetti Bowl - that they're re-opening a widely used ramp ahead of schedule. You should be able to once again use that flyover ramp to get from the northbound 95 freeway near downtown to get onto the southbound 15 freeway!

Then, step right up to the orange cone buffet. We start with MLK, where just about every freeway access point will be closed starting tonight at either 9 or 10pm and running until 5 or 6am Monday. Best to avoid MLK around the freeways. East/west drivers can use Bonanza or Alta/SymphonyPark/GrandCentral Pkwy. Your north/south alternates? Rancho and City Park.

Project Neon will also be taking away the stretch of Alta/Bonneville that runs under I-15 between Grand Central Pkwy and MLK. That starts at 10 tonight and is scheduled to run until 5am Monday. You can go down Grand Central Pkwy to Charleston to Rancho and then wherever you need. Or north on Grand Central to Symphony Park, then west to MLK and on your way.
