LAS VEGAS - A Project Neon progress update - and a two-night closure you need to be aware of.
The Nevada Dept of Transportation reports they're now more than half-way through the massive I-15 widening project. In fact they say they're nearly two-thirds of the way through: 65% completion. Which still leaves months of work ahead, including shutting down Charleston at the freeway as well as the freeway off-ramp to Charleston
So Tuesday and Wednesday nights from 7pm until 6 the following morning you won't be able to get off southbound I-15 at Charleston, and you'll be detoured away from Charleston around the freeway. It's the standard workaround drivers there shoul be familiar with: Rancho on the west and Western on the east for north south travel, and Alta/Bonneville across the north and Oakey across the south for east-west.
