2 dead in apparent murder-suicide, police say

HENDERSON, Nev. - Henderson Police investigated the death of a 55-year-old man and a 54-year-old woman Thursday in an apparent murder-suicide.

The Clark County Coroners Office identified the victims as 54-year-old Holly Ann Guillen and 55-year-old Andres Guillen. 

According to officers, the couple was found around 2:50 p.m. lying in the desert area near the intersection of East Larson Lane and Gilespie Street.  A person walking by noticed the man lying on the ground next
to a silver Chevrolet Cruz.

Henderson Police said the passerby tried to get a response from the man, but couldn't so he called the police. When emergency crews arrived at the scene, they pronounced the male dead, right before they found the woman's body.

Both victims appeared to have died from gunshot wounds.
