A bill to crack down on robocalls passed the United States Senate Thursday and heads to the house for a vote.
It’s the latest in a series of federal moves to stop scams and nuisance calls. The crackdown on unexpected calls are apparently one issue the U.S. Senate can agree on, robocalls are annoying to millions of Americans and sometimes criminal.
Congress wants to help stop the unwanted calls with the Traced Act passing in a 97 to 1 vote.
