EDC caused morning traffic delays

Police make 30 arrests on final day

LAS VEGAS - As the final day of EDC wrapped up in Las Vegas, thousands of people left the Las Vegas Motor Speedway Monday morning causing heavy traffic on local highways.

Nearly 140,000 people attended the three-day festival. People came from all over the world.

Metro Police released statistics for the third and final day of the event showing there had been 30 arrests between Sunday 6 p.m. until Monday at 6 a.m. There were 28 felony arrests that were narcotics related. The two other arrests were misdemeanors. Police issued six traffic violations.
