Fleury to miss Golden Knights road trip in S.J., Colorado

LAS VEGAS - The Vegas Golden Knights are hitting the road without their top goaltender, Marc-Andre Fleury.

Fleury took a shot to the mask midway through the first period in the Knights 4-1 win over Vancouver Tuesday night. He did not come out of the game at that time and finished the period, but spent some time working on adjusting his mask. Malcolm Subban came in to finish the final two periods for the Knights and looked great between the pipes.

There was no sign of Fleury at an optional practice.

Late Wednesday afternoon, the team recalled goalie Oscar Dansk from Chicago to replace Fleury’s roster spot.
