A bill that would double the money for zoom schools moved forward in the state legislature Monday.

The bill that doubles the money for zoom schools was voted out of the same committee.

The zoom program was started by the legislature in 2013. It targets the lowest performing schools with the highest percentage of English Language Learners.

Those schools get extra intensive services specifically to help those students. This bill would take the funding for those from $50 million up to $100 million.
