The final suspect in the shooting death of an 11-year-old North Las Vegas girl has been caught.
According to North Las Vegas Police, 19-year-old Isaac George was arrested Wednesday by the F.B.I. Violent Crime Task Force in San Leandro, California.
George is one of five suspects who was caught on surveillance video driving in a car in Angelina Erives neighborhood in the 6700 block of Courtney Michelle Street near E. Deer Springs Way and N. Lawrence Street. Police said George was one of the shooters who got out of the car and shot at the girl’s home.
The entire family was seated at the dining room table, which is near the window where the bullet entered striking and killing Angelina, an arrest report said.
North Las Vegas Police said the gang retaliation was a case of mistaken identity.
George is awaiting extradition. Another suspect, Guy Banks III was killed by the neighbor who fired back at the men after they shot Angelina’s family home. Three other suspects, Damion Dill, Erin Hines, and Jarquan Tiffith were arrested last month in the child’s death.
North Las Vegas Police said the F.B.I. Task Force in California for their help in the apprehension of George.
