Walmart employees in Nevada received $1.9 million in bonuses during the company’s fourth quarter, according to news release from Walmart.
Overall, Walmart paid out $7.8 million to Nevada employees for the full year. The company experienced strong growth toward the end of the year, the release said.
“At Walmart, we are committed to investing in our associates and providing a variety of opportunities for them to succeed,” said Todd Siron, Walmart regional vice president. “All of our success as a company is made possible through the achievements of our associates, and we are proud to reward them with bonuses they thoroughly deserve.”
More than 912,000 Walmart employees nationwide will share nearly $207 million in cash bonuses for the year’s final quarter.
The quarterly bonuses are part of an incentive plan to reward employees whose stores achieve sales and customer goals.
