LAS VEGAS - Shots fired outside a northeast valley bank caused the institution to close its doors Monday. Metro Police said it all started as a fight in the Wells Fargo parking lot near E. Bonanza Road and N. Nellis Boulevard.
Around 2 p.m. Monday afternoon police were called to the Wells Fargo located at Nellis and Harris to investigate reports of shots fired.
There wasn't a victim located at the scene, but there are reports that the victim was dropped off at Sunrise Hospital.
One witness who was at the Bank of America next to the Well's Fargo said she heard around five gunshots.
"I heard 5 gunshots and then I heard people screaming and people running out of the bank," said Adrianne Roberts.
Police are still trying to piece together what occurred. They have asked businesses around the bank for surveillance video.
