Sienna Golf Club, other vendors step up to help couple who lost wedding venue

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — There is an update to a story 8 News NOW first brought you two weeks ago about a military couple who were devastated when the venue where they were supposed to have their wedding closed its doors months before the big event.

Sean and Julia Hall were going to renew their vows in a big wedding to celebrate 15 years of marriage at Hacienda Gardens in August, but the sudden closure of the wedding venue put a wrench in their plans.

The couple didn’t know what they were going to do, but after their story aired on 8 News NOW, the Siena Golf Club stepped up to help, and now the couple will get their dream wedding. Sienna Golf Club offered to match the price they were initially paying.

A handful of other vendors have donated other things to make the day even more special for the couple.

Hacienda Gardens is expected to refund the Halls’ deposit in the coming months.
