UPDATE 1 P.M.: Officers say they were able to bring the event to a safe resolution, but they’ll remain on scene for another few hours.
ORIGNAL STORY: Around 8:53 a.m., Las Vegas police say officers were called to a family disturbance call on the 2800 block of Emerson Avenue.
Upon arrival, it was learned a person related to the call was possibly armed. That person has refused to cooperate with officers and exit a residence, so the incident is being treated as a barricade.
