UPDATE: Lockdown lifted at Valley High School

Local News

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) —  A lockdown at Valley High School was lifted around 2:25 p.m.  According to Metro Police, officers were investigating an incident Thursday in which a person, who wasn’t a student, walked onto the school’s campus.

It turns out, around 1:18 p.m. a Metro officer noticed a vehicle in the area with a fraudulent licenses plate. After the person walked onto the campus, additional Metro units and school police responded to the area and placed the school on a soft lockdown.

Police were searching the school with K-9 units, going from classroom to classroom.

No one was found, so the lockdown was lifted and kids were released from school.
