VGK fans at City National Arena look to game 6 after Thursday’s playoff loss

Local News

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The Golden Knights may have played on the road Thursday night, but fans flocked to watch parties around the valley to show their support.

No surprise City National Arena was packed as everyone headed out in their full Golden Knights gear.

It wasn’t the official watch party for game 5 of the Stanley Cup Playoff Series, but it was just loaded with hockey spirit.

Fans told 8 News Now they’re disappointed, but everyone is excited to see what game six brings to T-Mobile Arena Sunday.

“Very disappointing,” one fan said. “But you know what, we are going to win it next game, home win, why go back to San Jose?  We have it, we’re all over it.”

“You know, I just don’t see how sharks can swim on frozen water,” another fan said of the Golden Knights’ series one opponents.

Others 8 News Now spoke with said they’re planning to attend game six here at home. They’re already making plans to shell out some extra cash for seats.
