Man, woman in critical condition following North Las Vegas shooting


UPDATE 5:30 P.M.: Officers have released the ages of the three shooting victims. They say a 26-year-old male and a 24-year-old female were the ones shot and transported to UMC Trauma. They have been upgraded to critical but stable condition and are expected to survive. The man grazed was 27-years-old according to officers. 

Police say the exact motive is still unknown, btu they do know that an interaction between two groups how know each other led to the shooting. They are unsure whether the two groups exchanged fire of if the shooting was one sided. 

ORIGINAL STORY: North Las Vegas police say three people were shot inside of an apartment complex at 3300 Civic Center, near Cheyenne Avenue, around 3 p.m.

Officers are currently working to gain more information on what led to the shooting. For now, they can say that the shooting occurred inside the gates of the apartment complex but outside of an actual apartment. 
A man and a woman were shot and transported to UMC Trauma in critical condition, while another person was grazed and remains at the scene. 

The suspect fled after the shooting and has yet to be located.
