At approximately 4:09 a.m., a fatal crash occurred at the intersection of N. Eastern Avenue and E. Washington Avenue.

Officers say evidence at the scene indicates 42-year-old Stacey Frierson Silver 2003 Lincoln Continental was traveling southbound on Eastern Avenue when it collided with a blue 2000 Lincoln Continental driven by Kelvin Flowers. The two cars hit each other in the intersection and were sent crashing into a brick wall.

Flowers was pronounced deceased at the scene and Frierson was transported to UMC for injuries to his head. Frierson is believed to have been driving drunk and further testing was conducted by LVMPD while at University Medical Center.
