Motorcyclist dies in crash near Craig, Lamb

One man is dead following a crash that occurred early this morning in North Las Vegas.

Around 4:10 a.m., officers arrived at the intersection of Craig Road and Lamb Boulevard in reference to a serious crash involving a motorcycle. Medical personnel transported the 53-year-old motorcyclist to UMC Trauma where he was pronounced deceased.

The preliminary investigation indicates the motorcyclist was stopped at a red light on Craig Road facing eastbound when a dark-colored Acura S.U.V. rear-ended the man. The suspect fled the scene and is currently outstanding.

The Coroner’s Office will release the identity, and cause and manner of death, of the decedent following proper notification to next of kin. 

This is the 20th fatal crash in North Las Vegas for 2018.
