The body of a man found near SR157 about 10 miles up Kyle Canyon Road had been in the area from four to six weeks, according to Metro Police.
The body was found around 5 p.m. Sunday. Evidence at the scene suggested the man had been stabbed several times at the location, police said.
The identity of the victim and cause of death will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
Police have not identified any suspect or motive, at this time.
