**UPDATED AS OF 6:30am**
The Nevada Highway Patrol says at least one lane of northbound I-15 is back open at the Valley Of Fire State Park exit north of Las Vegas.
Several vehicles were involved in a crash around 3am Thursday, leading to the complete closure of northbound lanes for more than three hours.
No word on injuries or the cause of the crash.
The Nevada Highway Patrol closed northbound I-15 outside of Las Vegas early Thursday morning because of a multi-car crash.
The crash was reported at Mile Marker 83, about 10 miles north of the Valley Of Fire State Park exit (exit 75). Exits in the Las Vegas area are numbered in the 30s and 40s.
Northbound drivers were reportedly being turned around at exit 75 and sent back southbound toward Las Vegas.
As of 3:30am there was no word on how many vehicles were involved or the extent of any injuries.
Nevada Department of Transportation crews were sent to the scene to assist.
